Focus stack composites

The photos in this Gallery are generated with Helicon Focus software which enables the digital photographer to extend the range of sharpness and focus through selected parts of a photograph. Helicon allows the photographer to produce a fully sharp landscape photograph from near to far when made with a telephoto lens. Helicon also enables the photographer to render the main subject of a close-up photo fully sharp while retaining a soft background.
